We are pleased to announce the inaugural call for papers for Volume 1, Issue 1 of the Interdisciplinary Design and Engineering Journal, to be published in 2024 by Samarkand State University of Architecture and Construction named after Mirzo Ulugbek. As an open-access, peer-reviewed journal, we invite researchers, scholars, practitioners, and professionals from diverse disciplinary backgrounds to contribute original research articles, review papers, case studies, and theoretical perspectives in the fields of design and engineering.

Submissions may address a wide range of topics, including but not limited to:

• Innovative design methodologies and approaches
• Sustainable engineering practices and technologies
• Human-centred design and user experience
• Computational modeling and simulation in engineering
• Materials science and engineering applications
• Urban design, planning, and architecture
• Renewable energy systems and environmental engineering
